Find the automations worth building, then keep them working

Most businesses don't need more AI ideas. They need someone to look at how work actually gets done, pick the few things worth automating, and be honest about the rest. Then, once something is live, they need someone keeping an eye on it.

That's the consulting side of 54 Solutions: the planning before a build and the care after launch. We work with businesses in Lima and across Latin America, the US and the UK, in Spanish or English.

Before the build: strategy and process mapping

We sit down with the people who do the work, not just the managers, and follow a few processes from start to finish. We look at where requests come in, who touches them, which systems are involved and where things wait or get typed twice.

At the end you know which steps are worth automating, which only need simple rules, which need AI, and which should stay with a person. Every opportunity is ranked by the time or errors it would save against the effort to build it, so you can decide what goes first.

You can hire us for this on its own, including just the process mapping, with no commitment to build anything afterwards. The findings and the ranked list are yours to use however you like.

After launch: run and optimize

Automations don't stay right on their own. Your products change, a supplier changes a file format, customers start asking new questions. We monitor what we've shipped, review the cases it escalates, fix connections when they break, and keep adjusting the rules and the AI so the results hold up over time.

We report on what's working in plain terms: hours saved, response times, how much still needs a person.

Why these two go together

The mapping tells us what to measure. The monitoring tells us whether it worked and what to do next. Keeping both with the same team means nothing gets lost between the plan and the system that's actually running.

How we work

1. Discovery

Interviews with your team and a walk through the processes that matter most.

2. Scope and quote, before any build starts

You get a written summary of what we found, the opportunities ranked, and a clear scope and quote for the first build. You decide whether and when to go ahead.

4. Ongoing maintenance and monitoring

We monitor, maintain and improve what's live, and come back to the map when you're ready for the next step.

FAQ

Can we hire you just for the strategy work?

Yes. Consulting can be a project on its own, and that includes only the process mapping. You get the findings and the ranked list, and you decide later whether to build anything.

What do we get at the end of the mapping?

A plain-language summary of your key processes, where time is being lost, and a ranked list of what to automate, with a recommendation for each step: rules, AI, or keep it human.

Do we actually need AI?

Maybe not, and we'll say so. If a process is predictable and the data is structured, rule-based automation is usually simpler to run and maintain. AI makes sense when someone has to read and interpret something before the work can move on.

Who from our team needs to be involved?

The people who do the work day to day, plus someone who can make decisions. We keep the interviews short and work around their schedules.

What does ongoing optimization include?

Monitoring, fixing integrations when something changes, reviewing escalated cases, updating the information and rules the system relies on, and regular reporting on results.

How do you measure results?

Against the numbers we agree on in the scope, usually hours saved, response times, error rates or how many cases still need a person.

Do you work in Spanish and English?

Yes. Interviews, documents and reports can be in either language, or both if your team is mixed.

Not sure what to automate first?

On a free strategy call we'll walk through how your team works and point out the one or two processes worth looking at first.
